Ignite Hybrid Academy offers high quality instruction rooted in the science of reading.
Instruction of other subjects is multi sensory and hands on. Class sizes are small and
small group instruction gives an even more personalized learning experience. We meet
in person on Mondays and Thursdays. At home learning days are Tuesday and Wednesday.

Below is an easy overview of each enrollment track and what families can expect.

1. Traditional Full Enrollment (On Campus Program)
Our full enrollment option is designed for families who want the complete Ignite experience: structured literacy, hands?on enrichment, and guided hybrid home?learning.
Schedule: Full Day (9am–2pm)
What’s included:
- Daily structured literacy instruction
- Writing, math, science, and enrichment
- Skill based placement for reading and writing
- Hybrid home learning support
- Small class sizes and individualized attention
Best for: Families wanting a full, consistent on campus program with strong literacy support.
2. Co Enrollment (Online Catawba + Ignite)
This option blends the flexibility of Online Catawba with the in person support and community of Ignite. Students complete their online coursework at home and attend Ignite for literacy, writing, and enrichment.
Full Day Co Enrollment (9am–2pm)

- Morning Literacy Block (9–12)
- Afternoon Enrichment Block (12–2)

- In person literacy and writing instruction
- Enrichment classes and hands on learning
- Support for staying on track with Online Catawba coursework

3. Homeschool Enrollment
Homeschool families can join Ignite for high quality literacy, writing, and enrichment while maintaining full control of their homeschool curriculum.
Full Day Homeschool Enrollment (9am–2pm)

Families in all tracks may qualify for the NC Opportunity Scholarship.
